About Us

IMG_1298Dragonfly Gourmet Foods was born from the minds of Krista and Quinten Koetting. A husband and wife team with a culinary background from Krista and a business/retail background from Quinten, they came together to fill what they think is a gap in the food market.

Krista was born to be in the food industry. From the age of three she began working with food and by the age of twelve she was making meals for her family on her own. After high school she took her talent to Le Cordon Bleu, a culinary school in Chicago, IL. After time there she transferred to Le Cordon Bleu in Orlando, FL where she became very ill with a mysterious illness that forced her to move back to Missouri. After years of searching for a diagnoses and countless doctors’ appointments across the country she was diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. Since then she has remained positive and worked hard on learning about her illness. In July 2013 she went to Dallas, TX to receive treatment for her P.O.T.S. and while she still lives with her illness she is now able to pursue her passion of food once again.

Quinten has always had a dream of owning his own business, and utilizing his entrepreneurial spirit. At the age of sixteen he began working in the retail industry while going to school and then college. Moving beyond retail to the beverage industry, his dream always stayed in his mind. Soon, he and Krista saw a great opportunity to pursue their journey together into the food industry. Their culinary and business passions combined make for a tasty recipe for success. They are here to prove their worth in an extremely competitive market and know that their product is good enough to stay.


At Dragonfly Gourmet Foods we have a deep passion and love for food. Our goal is to spread that love to you through our products. We find the best and freshest ingredients to bring you high quality gourmet food products and pride ourselves on the work we do to create these quality products. From the unique and complicated recipes down to the simplest recipes we strive to be the best. We hand cut, hand mash, hand mix, hand pack and jar, and hand label all of our products in small batches. All of this ensures that you get the best quality product. The work we put into our food shows in the taste and quality. …Some things are worth doing right.
